8th alp crossing has ended
A fantastic 8th Jeantex TOUR Transalp powered by Sigma is ending. All the participants deserve our highest recognition for this outstanding achievement. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all participants. Because of the cancellation of the evening event, due to the strong thunderstorm, we will send each finisher their finisher jersey and medal by mail.
We are looking forward to the TOUR Transalp 2011, the registration of startes on December 1st 2010 at noon. |

Host cities introducing themselfes: today Arco (8)
Arco is a beautiful small city 5km north of Lake Garda where you can find many traces of the affecting and far going back history.
Its very mild climate makes Arco during the 19th century one of the most popular winter sport resorts of the middle European aristocracy. During the seventies the winter health resort emerged especially because of the presence of the archduke Albert of Austria, cousin of imperator Franz Josef who had his winter residence here. read more... |

Suspended acceleration times
Due to restrictions by the police the start of the Jeantex-TOUR-Transalp in Mittenwald has to be suspended from 10.00am to 09.00am. Furthermore early tumbling up is announced for the last stage from Trento to Arco. The start is at 07.30am.
We hope that all participants gather on time for the start of the 8. Jeantex-TOUR-Transalp and are excited to welcome all teams at the accreditation at 09.00am or at the expo from 12.00pm on Saturday, June 26th in Mittenwald.

The capitol of Trentino, near the Dolomite Alps and ne numerous lakes is a art city where the Renaissance is obviously dominating.
Only a few kilometers away from the city the Monte Bondone ascends. An ideal ski-region to satisfy demands of all skier from easy ski-runs to the 4 kilometer of the Gran Pista. With a drivable area of 70 hectare and 20 kilometer long ski-runs which are very wide and equipped with the latest artificial snowmaking machines so that not one valley of you vacation is unused. Monte Bondone is also very important for cross-country skiing with 35 kilometers long cross country ski track and for snowboarders with a fun park. Monte Bondone is a mountain of scientifiy interest with its botanic characteristics. Therefore one of the most important botanic gardens arose here, the nature reserve “Tre Cime del Monte Bondone”. Our physiotherapists, DiplSpW and sportphysiotherapists under the direction of Michael Sichermann are this year again part of the Jeantex-TOUR-Transalp as the “Jeantex-Physiotherapyteam”.
Michael Sichermann who supervised all Bike and TOUR Transalp events until 2009 is glad to welcome old and new participants of the Jeantex-TOUR-Transalp.

Hanka Kupfernagel is starting at the Transalp
With Hanka Kupfernagel one of the most successful cyclists of the past years is starting at this year Jeantex-TOUR-Transalp. The incumbent vice world champion in cyclo cross and world champion 2007 in single time trail over 25km is starting with her team partner Jens Schwendler in the mixed category and will for sure race for a place on the podium. Of course she will have many tips and tricks for all Transalp participants. |

The brand P. Jentschura is again this year “Official Partner” of the Jeantex-TOUR-Transalp. According to the motto “alkaline body care for everybody,” Jentschura puts, among others products, their body wash “MeineBase” into every starter bag for your daily alkaline body wash. Nutrition scientist Roland Jentschura will also personally lend a hand and serve the athletes his freshly made, gluten and lactose free millet-oatmeal “MorgenStund’” for breakfast at the camp. more... |

From 12 noon on 1st December, you have the chance to register for the Jeantex-TOUR-Transalp 2010. It is possible to register for the 550 teamplaces via online registration.
The confirmation mail will be send from 16.00 – 18.00 o´clock.
At aprox 18.00 o´clock you can search online if you got a starting place or on wich waitinglistposition your team is.

Fantastic route for 2010 is set
The Jeantex-TOUR-Transalp can boast with a absolutely wonderful Route in 2010. Race director Uli Stanciu brought in the whole beauty of the Alps and the Dolomite Alps in a route from Mittenwald to Arco, near Lake Garda. Sensational new route sections like a big part of the "Sella Ronda" are a part of the Transalp, just like spectacular stage arrivals at the dome place in Trento with an awesome italian flair.
