We are a team of emergency physicians, as well as intensive care nurses and paramedics. We have been accompanying the Jeantex-TOUR-Transalp powered by Sigma since 2003 and the Gerolsteiner Tourfestival since 2005. We are equipped with motorcycles, carry intensive care equipment, supply a NAW and provide a team of doctors and paramedics at the finish.

It is our task to provide medical assistance and the highest quality of care for participants as well as the whole team of the event.

What to do in case of an emergency or accident:

A. Make safe the scene of the accident
B. Find out about the location of the accident (which km of the current stage, name of town, GPS-Position, a terrestrial landmark, etc.) and the number of people injured and report to the Rescue Team!
C. Stay with the injured person(s) until help arrives.
D. Put people that fainted in a lateral recumbent position
E. In case of respiratory or cardiac arrest: begin cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Answer five important questions:
Who's reporting (name, start number)?
What happened?
When did it happen?
Where did it happen?
How many people are affected?
It is incumbent on all participants to pass the scene of an accident no faster than at walking pace. If a rescue helicopter should have to land on the scene the race will be halted until cleared by either the Rescue Team or a Race Marshal.

During the event the rescue team will always be available at:
